Return & Refund Policy

At Minimal Chaos, we maintain a high standard for our Alpha Series. Because our products are premium, heavyweight garments often featuring custom details, we operate with a focused and transparent return window.

1. 5-Day Return Window

We offer a 5-day return policy. You have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return. Requests made after this 5-day period are not eligible for a return or exchange.

2. Eligibility & Condition

To ensure a successful return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it (unwashed and unused).
  • Equipped with all original tags and "Alpha Series" branding intact.
  • In its original packaging.
  • Accompanied by the digital receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Non-Returnable Items (Personalization)

Please Note: Any t-shirt featuring custom name printing on the sleeve or other personalized modifications is not eligible for return or exchange unless the item arrives defective or damaged. These pieces are crafted specifically for you and cannot be restocked.

4. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, email us at shop.minimalchaos@gmail.com.

  • The Request: In your email, please include your Order ID, a brief reason for the return, and attach clear photos of the product (showing the overall condition and any specific defects or damage).
  • Approval Required: Do not attempt to ship any items back independently. We will review your email and photos to determine eligibility. Items returned without an authorized request will not be processed.
  • Reverse Pickup: Once your return is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your address through our logistics partner. You don't need to worry about booking a courier; we will handle the coordination.
  • Packaging: Please ensure the t-shirt is securely packed in its original packaging. The pickup agent may verify the item’s condition before accepting the package for transit to our fulfillment center.

5. Damages & Defective Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong design, contact us at shop.minimalchaos@gmail.com with photos of the issue. We will evaluate the claim and, if verified, provide a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

6. Standard Returns & "Change of Mind" (Reverse Logistics Fee)

We understand that sometimes a piece might not align perfectly with your style expectations once you try it on. For returns that are not due to a manufacturing defect or damage—commonly referred to as "change of mind" returns—a flat ₹99 Reverse Logistics Fee will be deducted from your final refund amount.

What qualifies as a "change of mind"?

This includes returns requested for subjective reasons, such as no longer wanting the item, sizing issues (provided the garment matches the dimensions on our official size chart), or general dissatisfaction. Additionally, please note that digital screens render colors differently; slight variations in color or graphic alignment between the physical product and the website imagery are normal. Returns based on these slight visual variances are not considered "defects" and will fall under this category, subject to the ₹99 deduction to help cover the reverse courier and handling costs.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return at our facility, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method (UPI, Net Banking, or Card) within 7–10 business days.
  • Processing Time: While we initiate refunds immediately, your bank or UPI provider (such as Jupiter, SBI, or HDFC) may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
  • Follow-up: If you haven’t received your refund after 15 business days of approval, please contact us.
